Ty-Lyn Family This past summer we grew a great garden and canned all summer! Now we have some goodies to munch on during the Winter and look forward to the Spring and Summer. We have a new batch of chickens and are eating farm fresh eggs daily.
Great news for us; UNC-TV has contacted us and plans on filming a segment at Ty-Lyn Plantation! We will be featured in a release scheduled for October 2010. I was telling stories about all of you-how we have customers that have been with us from the beginning! Some came while dating, engaged, married and are now bringing babies with them on their visits. There are so many of you that have awesome stories about being a part of our family. We need you to email (tylynplantation@verizon.net) or snail mail us your story about your relationship with Ty-Lyn by November 5 of this year. They want to choose a story and then film you here sometime in November! Now that the drought is over the trees are extra beautiful and ready to go home with you. We are enjoying the fall and look forward to seeing your smiling faces this Christmas season. Once again, we salute our military and send our thoughts and prayers out to them. We will participate in the Trees for Troops program 2009.
