Making memories is a part of our job that we really love!  Remember the smell of Christmas?  Fresh fir boughs, mulled cider and hot apple pie?  Come start your family tradition in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, sixty miles south of Asheville and twenty miles north of Franklin.  Drive into the 54 acre Fraser Fir Plantation and see llamas, miniature donkeys, sheep and wild geese.  Enjoy free hot cider while waiting to take a ride in our hydrogen assisted eco-friendly 1950 Chevy Truck or 1951 Ford Fire Truck and have fun.  Ride to the field and enjoy choosing your special tree.  Bring your lunch and enjoy it in the field or on busy weekends buy  lunch from the Grill.

We have trees that range from 3-18 feet in height. From all four major roads into Cashiers, follow the Santa signs (picture above) to get to our plantation. Look at our directions page for more detailed directions.  While having your tree bailed to carry home, visit our handmade wreath operation and gift shop.  Every year we take a group or family photo and the next year you look for yourselves on the "Wall of Fame".  Take your photo home with you and have your new photo taken for pickup the following year!

Here at Ty-Lyn we have made award winning wreaths for over 15 years. We have presented the Governor of North Carolina with a wreath for his home in Raleigh, NC and won the Grand Champion Wreath in the North Carolina State Fair Contest with entries from all over the state.  We are supporters of Trees for Troops donating trees every year.  Active members of the North Carolina Christmas Tree Association.

John & Joni are very committed to "Growing Green" and are firm believers in Integrated Pest Management.  We do everything we can to insure our environment is protected.
